How does a SmartBike work?
Your child simply sits on the seat and uses his/her legs & feet to propel, and then brake. The child walks and then runs and in no time at all, will be lifting his/her feet & freewheeling. And then, just by using his/her feet can slow the bike down to a stop.

How heavy is the SmartBike?
Each bike weighs only 4.5kg. They are easily pushed, or carried by an adult in just one hand.

My child is 3 yrs, shouldn't he learn to ride a pedal bike now?
Children up to 5 years old, that are able to 'fit' their SmartBike, should start with this running bike as it helps develop the basic skills needed for a pedal bike and other activities. They have just as much fun as they do on a pedal bike, SmartBike builds confidence which is so important at this age. SmartBike is a quality product, built to last through more than one childhood!

What happens if my SmartBike needs repair?
Please do not hesitate to contact us. We have a range of replacement parts for sale. In the case of a manufacturers fault we will provide a replacement part within the warranty period of 6 months from date of purchase.
If your SmartBike wheel has a puncture, the tube and tyre can either be repaired or replaced at any bike shop.

Is it safe to leave SmartBike outdoors?
Your SmartBike is crafted from wood and will deteriorate if left in the rain or prolonged moist environments.
